Look at the role switcher in the top panel. If it shows "Instructor | Switch," you are already on the correct panel and can continue to the course-creation instructions.
Open the role switcher. If another role is shown, select the active-role control - for example, "Administrator | Switch" - to display the roles assigned to your account.
