Landing Pages using Claude or Codes

Updated on Sun Jun 28 2026

      Overview

Codex can help you turn a brief, reference material, or an existing page into a complete landing page inside AcademyLauncher. The workflow is similar to creating a blog post with Codex: give it the destination, explain the outcome you want, provide reliable source material, let it prepare the page, and review everything before publishing.

      What you need

      • Access to the AcademyLauncher dashboard
      • The Codex desktop app with the in-app browser available
      • A clear offer, audience, and call to action
      • Any approved source material, brand guidelines, images, testimonials, or pricing details
      • Permission to publish or edit the page

      1. Open the landing-page editor

Sign in to AcademyLauncher and open the dashboard area where landing pages are managed. Open the page you want to update, or create a new landing page.

Keep the AcademyLauncher page open in the in-app browser. This gives Codex the exact destination and avoids ambiguity about which website or account should be changed.

      1. Give Codex a focused brief

Tell Codex what the page must achieve. A useful brief includes:

      • Target audience
      • Main problem the page solves
      • Product or offer
      • Primary call to action
      • Desired tone
      • Required sections
      • Claims or details that must be included
      • Claims, topics, or wording that must be avoided

      Example prompt:

“Create a landing page in AcademyLauncher for independent course creators who want to launch a paid academy. Use a confident, practical tone. Include a hero section, problem statement, benefits, feature blocks, social proof placeholders, FAQ, and a final Start Free Trial call to action. Do not publish until I approve the preview.”

The more specific the brief, the less rewriting will be required.

      1. Supply source material

Give Codex the material it is allowed to use. This may include a product page, YouTube video, internal document, feature list, customer interview, or approved marketing copy.

Ask Codex to distinguish facts from interpretation. For time-sensitive product details, pricing, integrations, or policies, tell it to verify the current information before writing.

Do not ask Codex to invent testimonials, customer numbers, guarantees, or performance claims. Use clearly labelled placeholders when approved proof is not available.

      1. Ask Codex to create the page structure

A conversion-focused landing page normally includes:

      • Hero: a clear promise, supporting explanation, and primary call to action
      • Problem: the frustration or cost experienced by the target audience
      • Solution: how the product changes that situation
      • Benefits: outcomes written from the buyer’s perspective
      • Features: the capabilities that support those benefits
      • Proof: approved testimonials, results, logos, or examples
      • Objection handling: FAQs, compatibility, support, pricing, or risk-reversal information
      • Final call to action: one clear next step

Ask Codex to keep one primary conversion goal. Too many competing buttons and offers usually weaken the page.

      1. Create or select supporting images

Codex can generate a hero image or supporting illustration when original artwork is appropriate. Describe the intended use, dimensions, visual style, palette, composition, and anything that must not appear.

      Example prompt:

“Generate a wide 16:9 editorial hero image for a course-platform landing page. Show an independent creator building a polished online academy. Use deep navy, warm amber, and clean modern lighting. Leave negative space for the headline. No text, logos, or watermark.”

Review generated images for inaccurate interfaces, unwanted text, misleading claims, and visual elements that do not fit the brand. Use approved product screenshots when the page needs to demonstrate the real interface.

      1. Let Codex populate the AcademyLauncher fields

Ask Codex to complete the relevant fields, which may include:

      • Page title
      • URL slug
      • Headline and supporting copy
      • Section content
      • Calls to action
      • Button links
      • Images and alternative text
      • SEO title and meta description
      • Page status

Use a short, descriptive slug. Check every button destination, especially signup, checkout, contact, and external links.

      1. Review the preview

Before publishing, ask Codex to inspect the page as a visitor would. Check:

      • The main promise is understandable within a few seconds
      • The call to action is visible and consistent
      • Facts, prices, and product names are correct
      • Headings follow a logical order
      • Paragraphs are easy to scan
      • Images have useful alternative text
      • Links and buttons point to the intended destinations
      • The layout works on desktop and mobile
      • No editor notes, placeholders, or generated-image artefacts remain

Codex should verify the visible page after making changes instead of assuming that saved content rendered correctly.

      1. Publish with an explicit instruction

Publishing creates an external change, so Codex will ask for confirmation at the final action. Review the prepared page, then give a direct instruction such as:

      “Publish this landing page now.”

After publication, open the public URL and perform one final check. If the page includes a form, checkout, or signup flow, test it with an approved test account or test mode.

      A reusable prompt

“Open the AcademyLauncher landing-page editor and create a page for [audience] promoting [offer]. The primary goal is [conversion goal]. Use these approved sources: [links or files]. Use a [tone] voice and include [required sections]. Verify current factual claims, generate or select an appropriate hero image, complete the slug and SEO fields, and preview the page on desktop and mobile. Do not publish until I confirm.”

      Best practices

      • Treat Codex as an editor and operator, not the source of business facts
      • Provide one clear conversion goal
      • Use approved proof instead of invented social proof
      • Keep the browser on the intended AcademyLauncher account
      • Ask for a preview and link check before publishing
      • Require confirmation for the final publish action
      • Re-check the live URL after publishing

      Result

A good Codex workflow reduces repetitive page-building work while keeping editorial judgment with you. Codex can research, draft, structure, populate, and verify the page; you remain responsible for the offer, factual accuracy, brand standards, and final publication decision.
