COPYRIGHT AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY POLICY
Effective date: 18 June 2026
AcademyLauncher respects intellectual-property rights and expects users to do the same. This Policy explains how rights owners may report content hosted through the Platform and how affected users may respond.
USER RESPONSIBILITY
Creators and other users must own or have all permissions necessary for content they upload, sell, display, stream or distribute. This includes videos, music, images, books, presentations, software, trademarks, course materials and learner submissions. AcademyLauncher does not pre-approve user content and does not grant users rights to third-party material.
COPYRIGHT NOTICES
If you believe content on AcademyLauncher infringes your copyright, send a written notice to dmca@academylauncher.com with:
Your full name, organization and reliable contact information;
Identification of the copyrighted work or a representative list of works;
The exact URL or other information sufficient to locate the allegedly infringing material;
A clear explanation of why you believe the use is unauthorized;
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights owner, its agent or law;
A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner; and
Your physical or electronic signature.
We may ask for additional information if a notice is incomplete or the material cannot be identified.
ACTION ON NOTICES
After receiving a sufficiently complete notice, AcademyLauncher may remove or disable access to the material, seek information from the user, preserve relevant records, notify the user who supplied the content, or take other action appropriate under applicable law. Submission of a notice does not guarantee removal. We may decline notices that are abusive, fraudulent, unsupported or concern matters outside our control.
COUNTER NOTICE
If your content was restricted because of a copyright complaint and you believe the action resulted from mistake, misidentification or lawful use, you may send a counter notice to dmca@academylauncher.com containing:
Your name and contact information;
Identification of the removed material and where it appeared;
An explanation and good-faith statement supporting restoration;
Any legally required consent to jurisdiction or service of process applicable to the notice; and
Your physical or electronic signature.
We may provide the counter notice to the complainant. Where legally appropriate, content may be restored unless the complainant timely provides evidence of legal proceedings or another valid reason prevents restoration.
TRADEMARK AND OTHER RIGHTS
Trademark complaints should identify the registered or protectable mark, registration details where available, the owner, the specific location and nature of the allegedly infringing use, the relevant goods or services, and evidence of authorization to act. Send complaints to legal@academylauncher.com or, if that address is unavailable, support@academylauncher.com.
Claims concerning publicity, confidentiality, patents or other rights should identify the right, affected material, legal basis and requested action. AcademyLauncher may require a court order or direct resolution between the parties for complex ownership disputes.
REPEAT AND SERIOUS INFRINGEMENT
AcademyLauncher may warn, restrict or terminate users who repeatedly infringe intellectual-property rights or commit a serious violation. We may consider valid notices, counter notices, court decisions, user history, obviousness, intent and other relevant circumstances. We may act on a single serious violation.
MISREPRESENTATION
Knowingly submitting a false or materially misleading notice or counter notice may create legal liability. Before reporting content, consider whether a license, exception, fair dealing, fair use or other lawful basis may apply. AcademyLauncher is not a court and cannot provide legal advice.
INFORMATION SHARING AND PRIVACY
Notices and counter notices may be shared with the affected user, rights owner, service providers, legal advisers or authorities as reasonably necessary to investigate and resolve the claim. Do not include sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for the request.
CONTENT OUTSIDE ACADEMYLAUNCHER
A Creator may connect a custom domain, external service or third-party integration. We may be unable to remove content not stored or controlled by AcademyLauncher. In those cases, contact the relevant host, registrar, platform or Creator directly.
