Engagement reports

Updated on Fri Aug 07 2026

The Engagement report combines activity, sessions, learning time, and progress to help identify learners who may need support.

Open the Engagement report

  1. Go to Dashboard → Reports.

  2. Select Engagement.

  3. Filter by period, course, classroom, or learner.

  4. Select Run report.

Engagement summary

The report shows active learners, engagement rate, average learning time, and learners needing attention. Engagement health groups learners into:

  • Highly engaged — strong activity, progress, and learning time;

  • Engaged — regular activity and steady progress;

  • Low activity — limited activity or slow progress;

  • Inactive — no recent activity or sessions.

Find learners needing attention

Use the attention panel to review inactive learners and people with multiple risk signals. Select Review or View learner to investigate courses, recent activity, sessions, learning time, and progress.

Learner engagement table

The table can include courses, last active date, sessions, learning time, average progress, and engagement status. Use the status tabs to focus on a single engagement group.

Recommended follow-up

  1. Start with inactive learners who are currently enrolled.

  2. Check whether their courses have begun and whether activity tracking is available.

  3. Review low-activity learners with stalled progress.

  4. Coordinate an appropriate reminder, instructor check-in, or learning intervention.

  5. Run the report again later to measure whether engagement improved.
