Online course website memberships are a popular model for delivering educational content and fostering community. By offering a subscription-based model, websites can provide continuous value to their members while generating recurring revenue.
To create memberships simple head over to Ecommerce - Memberships section in Administration panel.

Use “Add New” to add a membership plan or membership actions to edit any memebership

Just like the products, a membership can be a one time or a subscription plan. For subscriptions make sure you create the plans carefully as payment gateways do not allow deletion of plans. And existing plan users will keep connected to a membership plan.
You can manage membership and add remove components of the site the users get access to when they purchase the membership. For example you can add pages and posts to a membership plan and only members exclusive to that membership plan can access those. For courses added to a membership plan the membership users are automatically enrolled in the course.

You can manage members of the membership plan using the members section. Search for an existing member or add members manually into the membership plan.
