      Gamification overview

      Updated on Sat Aug 08 2026

      The Gamification panel brings point rules, badges, levels, rewards, leaderboards, and earning history into one workspace. Use it to make learner progress visible and reward actions that support your learning goals.

      Open Gamification

      1. Sign in as an administrator.

      2. Go to Dashboard → Gamification.

      3. Select a section: Overview, Point rules, Badges, Levels, Rewards, Leaderboards, or Points log.

      Review the overview

      The overview summarizes:

      • Points awarded across all activity;

      • Active participants who are earning points;

      • Badges earned across learners;

      • Rewards redeemed;

      • points earned during the last 30 days;

      • top earning rules and top learners for the month;

      • program health, reward inventory, and recent activity.

      Use the course filter in Participation & points to narrow the summary when course-specific data is available.

      Check program health

      Use Program health to review active rules, configured rewards, and unusual earning patterns. A healthy score is a prompt to inspect the supporting checks, not a replacement for reviewing the points log.

      Good practices

      • Reward actions that indicate learning or constructive participation.

      • Start with a small number of rules and review their use before expanding the program.

      • Avoid awarding large point values for actions learners can repeat without meaningful effort.

      • Tell learners what earns points and how rankings or rewards are determined.
